EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Diego is an accomplished executive leader with over 15 years of diverse financial and operational experience in both small and large businesses across a number of industries including agricultural sectors, finance, manufacturing, food retail, distribution and retail, and energy. Diego is a highly analytical and a sales driven individual that has allowed for him to fit greatly with the BDO El Salvador approach of serving clients.
Prior to joining BDO El Salvador, Diego served as country manager for IDC Asesores Financieros, a Central American financial advisory firm, focusing mainly on M&A processes and valuation. Prior to IDC, Diego worked as an associate for Aureos Capital Central America, a fund manager, overlooking investments for a private equity fund for the northern part of Central America. Prior to Aureos, he worked in corporate banking for Citibank, Banco Cuscatlan and CABEI, a regional development bank also based in Central America.
Diego currently is in charge of BDO El Salvador’s consulting division which includes all advisory in terms of tax, risk advisory, outsourcing and corporate finance.
